Our soft 6-layer cotton muslin blanket makes a wonderful receiving blanket. This item will not shrink so give it with confidence but note muslin does crinkle up, this is not considered shrinking but the nature of muslin and gets softer with use. Also, lots of our customers add a burp cloth and call this item a receiving blanket set but adding a washcloth or two they call it a towel set. This item makes a wonderful monogram item and looks great with a bean or running stitched name.
